Clare Brett is an Associate Professor at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. In 2022 she ended a six year term as Chair of the Department of Curriculum, Teaching and Learning. Professor Brett is a distinguished scholar in the area of on-line learning communities. She works with graduate students whose interests are in digital communications technologies, online learning, and synchronous and asynchronous learning. She has taught courses on the role of technology in languages and literacies, and integrating technology into classrooms.
