Sat, February 8, 2014 @ 11:00 am - 5:00 pm

Instructor: Matt Zukowski

Do you have basic web development skills? Want to learn how to apply them to building Android apps?

This workshop will show participants how to build apps using Phonegap: a framework for developing cross-platform mobile apps using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.

No prior experience with programming for Android is necessary. By the end of the workshop you’ll have built your own mobile app, ready to publish to the Google Play Store and install on your Android phone or tablet.

Requirements
– Some experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
– Your own Mac, Windows, or Linux laptop
– A mobile device running Android 4.0 or newer

NOTE: The cost of this workshop is $15 cash. Credit cards and cheques are not accepted and exact change is required. Registration must be done in person with Zoe Jaremus, KMDI Coordinator. Please send her an email at z.jaremus@utoronto.ca to set up a time to stop by with your payment. There are only 12 spots available and they are on a first come first serve basis. A receipt will be issued upon payment and refunds will not be issued.

**This workshop was made possible by the combined efforts of KMDI and Information Services.
