KMDI and The Faculty of Information’s New GLAM Incubator Supports its First Projects

The KMDI is excited to partner with the Faculty of Information on the official launch of the GLAM Incubator. The GLAM Incubator aims to connect Galleries, Libraries, Archives, and Museums with university researchers, industry partners, cutting-edge technologies, and university researchers. As of the spring of 2022, four pilot projects were selected for support and to help develop the Incubator as a long-term program. KMDI Director Sara Grimes, Dean Wendy Duff, and the incubator’s interim Director, Associate Professor Patrick Keilty, sought out projects with a Faculty connection that would benefit cultural heritage institutions, industry, and the research and teaching goals of universities worldwide.
